Is this the face of Angie Dodge's killer?

The Idaho Falls Police Department has released an image of what could be a cold case murder victim's killer.

Police used DNA gathered during the 1996 murder investigation of Angie Dodge, who was found dead in her Idaho Falls apartment. Since 1996, IFPD has submitted more than 90 DNA samples for testing and conducted hundreds of interviews during its investigation to find Angie Dodge's killer.

The picture was drawn based on DNA gathered as evidence during the murder investigation. Though the DNA evidence revealed information about the killer's race and other physical characteristics, as well as the generation of his face, police say that the information is not guaranteed to be 100 percent accurate.

The man previously accused of killing Dodge, Christopher Tapp, was freed earlier this year after DNA evidence proved his innocence.
